The Friends of Epsom Hospital

Volunteer at the Epsom League of Friends shop

The Friends of Epsom Hospital was formed in 1958 to provide amenities, equipment and voluntary services to the hospital.

Since then we have raised over £2 million which has been used in a variety of ways, from purchasing vital laser and coronary care equipment to refurbishing doctors' and nurses' accomodation.

Volunteers can help in a wide range of areas, such as delivering newspapers to wards, working in the Friends’ Shop, on outpatients desk, and in the library.

We also have volunteer befrienders who work on the wards, helping to feed patients, make beds and give patients somebody to talk to.
