Breast pumps

Supporting you to feed your baby

Supporting mothers to be successful with their chosen feeding method is very important to us at Epsom and St Helier hospitals.

More than 86% of mothers who have their baby at our units initiate breastfeeding.

Many women will exclusively breastfeed their baby and may not want or need a breast pump.

However, there may be times when some mothers need or want to express milk (babies being cared for in our Neonatal or Special Care Baby units may be too small or unwell to feed). Expressing milk can also help mums who are having difficulties breastfeeding, as it can help to maintain your milk supply whilst establishing breastfeeding.

Breast pump We have electric breast pumps on our postnatal wards, Special Care Baby Unit at Epsom and in our Neonatal Department at St Helier for use whilst you are an inpatient, if needed.

We also offer an Ardo Calypso Electric Breast Pump to buy at a discounted price, if you want or need a pump at home.

Available to purchase here:

  • £95.00 for a single pump
  • £135 for a double pump.

Please call 07975 232374 with any queries or for further information.
