Books and journals from our library
The Hirson and Sally Howell libraries have a large collection of books, journals and reports to support the information needs of clinical, non clinical and support staff.
You can check our library catalogue via the London Health Libraries for items held at our libraries. The code for the Sally Howell Library is 'EP' and the code for the Hirson Library is 'MS'.
You may borrow up to six items. Items are issued for 28 days. You may renew items twice in person, via email or by telephone, if the item has not been reserved by another reader.
Journals are for reference only.

Photocopying services
Both libraries have photocopying machines which are currently available to use during opening hours only. Photocopying costs 5p per page.
In addition, the Sally Howell Library has facilities for binding reports or essays and also has a laminator.

Current awareness
The libraries can also help you to keep up to date with the latest information. We can help you to set up an alert which emails you with the contents pages of your favourite journals, or the latest information on a subject of interest.
