This educational programme is aimed at registered nurses working in an ophthalmic environment who wish to validate their existing skills and learn new skills.
The programme explores ophthalmic nursing from both the clinical perspective as well as the policy developments that will influence service delivery in the future.

If yes, then this programme may be for you.
Programme contents include anatomy and physiology, conditions and treatment options and associated clinical skills.
Teaching strategies include classroom activities, skill practice and guided self directed study.
Places are limited to 12 students to ensure appropriate support is offered during practice sessions.
