"During April 2009, I contacted the undergraduate co-ordinator, Stephen Rosan, regarding work experience in the hospital. He was able to offer me a placement for a week during May 2009. I shadowed Dr Nithiyananthan and his general and diabetic medicine team. In addition, he also gave me some invaluable advice on the medical school admissions process and my personal statement.
