A website has been launched to keep local people up-to-date with the review of women and children's services at Epsom and St Helier hospitals.
The website contains a wealth of information about the review, including:
- Detailed background on the review, including the case for change
- All the latest project statistics, facts and figures
- Details about how the project is being run and who is doing it
- The latest options for the future of the services - visitors are asked to comment on the options and/or to put forward other ideas
- Information about how the three partners are engaging with the public, including presentations and notes from meetings held with stakeholders and staff
- Agenda and minutes for the review's Project Board and Project Team
- Press releases and other breaking news
Professor Ian Lewis is a children's doctor at Leeds Teaching Hospitals and was appointed as the independent clinical chair for the review. He said "I am extremely pleased to see the launch of this website. I am assured that all involved are committed to making sure the review is completely open and transparent and, importantly, that local people and other stakeholders are able to get involved. The website is intended to give you all relevant information about the review."
"Visitors to the website are encouraged to feedback their comments and suggestions for the future of women and children's services at Epsom and St Helier hospitals, including what they think about the current options which have been put forward by clinicians and the public. They can also tell us if they have any new ideas."
