  • Doctors on call ... in Nepal Phil Dart in NepalTwo doctors from Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust have returned from the trip of a lifetime, where they offered people living in remote villages of Nepal some much needed healthcare. In rural Nepal, people who need medical treatment have to walk to the nearest road and then drive to the hospital. 27 April 2010

  • Butterfly boosted by £1,500 'big band' cheque Information and Support Manager, Teresa Howes; Clinical Director of cancer services, Dr Lydia Jones; John Chamberlain; Mick Martin; Cancer services manager, Julia Sinclair and information manager, Tarlika PatelMembers of the Nonsuch Rotary Club dropped into The Macmillan Butterfly Centre at Epsom Hospital recently to say thank you to the service and drop off a bumper £1,500 cheque. President John Chamberlain and President (elect) Mick Martin visited the centre, which provides support, advice and complementary therapies to cancer patients and their loved ones, to donate the generous sum. 14 April 2010
