The top nurse at Epsom, Sutton and St Helier hospitals is encouraging local people to take part in free dance classes that are being held across south west London and Surrey next weekend (March 6 and 7).
The Let's Dance campaign, which is part of Change4Life (the nationwide movement to help us all live healthier, happier and longer lives) has been launched in partnership with the Fitness Industry Association, to get local people dancing their way to fitness.
And with classes in a range of styles from samba to street dance, there's bound to be a class for everyone.
The Trust's Director of Nursing, Pippa Hart said: "Dancing is a brilliant way of getting and keeping fit. I am a big fan of dancing as it burns calories, can help with your co-ordination, is a good way of meeting new people and above all, it's great fun. There's really no excuse for not getting involved in a local dance class - especially now you can sample a class for free!
"The Change4Life movement is all about making it easier to build activity into our daily routines, and this is a perfect opportunity to get out there and try something a bit different."
