During the snow and ice in November and December, many staff and volunteers showed extraordinary commitment and professionalism to get into work during extremely challenging conditions.
As you may know, on 30 November, Trust surgeon Mr Aziz Anjum flagged down a passing police 4x4 when he became stuck in gridlocked traffic on his way to the operating theatre at St Helier.
The resulting story, which saw Mr Anjum driven to St Helier under blue light to perform an operation, resulted in considerable national media coverage, including the Guardian and 'The One Show' on BBC1.
Aziz and Sergeant Dolce - the police officer who helped him - will feature in the
Channel 4 programme, 'The Year Britain Froze', tonight (18 January) at 8pm.
