The young children at Willows nursery in Sutton Hospital can now make the most of the summer months, thanks to a brand new garden area funded by the St Helier and Sutton League of Friends.

The £3,000 work includes a brand new protective flooring, so no more bumps and scrapes for the children as they play outside, as well as a new door and access ramp.

Acting nursery manager, Katie Dudley said: "All of the children absolutely love their new play area. It's a privilege to watch them play and be happy in a secure and safe environment outside, and it's all thanks to the generosity of the League of Friends. We all owe them a huge thank you."
