We have cancelled 14 planned day case operations at Sutton Hospital and all patients affected have been contacted directly. Doing this allows us to prioritise emergency and urgent patients.
All patients and local people are reminded to only come to our A&E departments if they have suffered a serious injury or accident, or, if they are suffering from a sudden and serious illness or condition.
