Top of the class for 96 hospital staff A special awards ceremony to recognise 96 members of Trust staff who have achieved a vocational award this year has taken place. A wide range of staff from Epsom, St Helier and Sutton hospitals gathered at the special evening on 28 September 2011 where they were presented with their certificates by Chief Executive Matthew Hopkins. 05 October 2011

Local hospitals announce Nurse of the Year A long-serving matron at Epsom Hospital has been crowned Nurse of the Year at a special ceremony. Cleaner sweeps to victory in national awards A cleaner and porter at Sutton Hospital has picked up a national award for his high standards of work and dedication to his job. Jim Kicks, who has been cleaning and portering at the hospital for more than 11 years, was given the 'UK Employee of the Month Award' by the company contracted to clean Sutton and Epsom hospitals, Sodexho. 27 July 2010
