  • Best foot forward for charity walk 2009 EOC walk, Nonsuch MansionPatients of the Elective Orthopaedic Centre (EOC), their families and friends will soon be putting their best foot forward for charity by taking part in a sponsored walk around Nonsuch Park. The EOC, which is a clinical centre of excellence based at Epsom Hospital, is holding a charity walk to raise money for the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation. 07 June 2011
  • From Surrey to the Sahara: Trust doctor volunteers in North African warzone Richard swaps the Elective Orthopaedic Centre for Tataouine Hospital, southern TunisiaA senior surgeon from Epsom and St Helier hospitals recently returned from a two-week mission to a North African warzone. Mr Richard Field, a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at the Elective Orthopaedic Centre at Epsom Hospital was based at Tataouine regional hospital, located near the Libyan border in southern Tunisia. 12 May 2011

The annual Healthcare 100 awards polled more than 35,000 health professionals to determine who the best employers in the business are, and thanks to the positive feedback from EOC staff, the centre came away with an award. 26 July 2010
