How to find us
The renal unit at St Helier Hospital is located at the rear of the main hospital. It is possible to drive through the hospital site to drop-off patients directly outside of the renal unit.
There is parking available to patients as follows:
-
Public car park at the front of the hospital - a free permit is available for some of our chronic patients. Please ask at the main renal reception or your dialysis nurse. A permit must be acquired before parking in this car park otherwise charges will apply.
-
Half hour bays outside of the main renal unit available for two vehicles. Visitors are asked not to overstay within these bays as they are predominantly used for dropping-off renal patients that may also need some assistance.
-
Disabled persons bays outside of the main renal unit. Seven bays are available to Blue Badge holders. Normal rules apply to these bays.
If you are brought by ambulance you will be dropped-off and collected from outside of the main renal unit.
The hospital staff carry out regular checks of all car parks and you may be liable to fines if you are not parked in authorised bays or displaying the appropriate permit. If you do experience any difficulties, please return to the renal outpatient's reception where you will receive support and advice.
Please see the 'our locations' section for parking information at our satellite units.
