Renal outpatient department

The renal unit at St Helier Hospital sees patients on an outpatient basis at many different sites.

However, St Helier Hospital provides the main facility for the service, comprising a main reception, medical records area, waiting area and six consulting rooms.

All areas are staffed by a dedicated team of administrative personnel who manage all of the clinics, booking appointments, preparing medical records and meeting all patients as they arrive in the unit.

The waiting area is served by a small refreshments bar staffed by volunteers and is open during most clinics.

Staff in the renal outpatients department often take part in charity events and are always grateful for any donations and/or sponsorship to go towards their achievements in these events. All of the money raised goes towards the renal unit and renal research.
