The endoscopy unit is based at St Helier Hospital and offers a range of gastro-intestinal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
This is a busy unit with a large team of staff comprising 12 nurses, 6 healthcare assistants and supported by a team of 7 administrative staff.
Approximately 130 procedures are performed each week across the following:

The full range of endoscopy procedures are also carried out in our day surgery unit at Epsom Hospital.
A satellite service offering flexible sigmoidoscopy and OGD is offered at the Nelson Hospital offering patients more flexibility and treatment choices.
