Mary underwent four cycles of IVF over the course of two years at St Helier Hospital's assisted conception unit. Here she shares her experience with us.
Mary said: "I had my treatment at St Helier and I can't recommend it highly enough. Dr Sheriff and the nurses, Babs and Lucy, looked after me very well and were always very supportive of me.
"It was difficult at times, there's no denying that, but it did get easier. On the fourth try I fell pregnant and now I have beautiful twin boys. The first time was definitely the worst, but by the fourth try, I knew what to expect and had a better idea of what was happening to me.
"It was definitely worth it, and now I have two very cheeky little boys! They are so naughty - they get up to everything! They look at me, knowing that they're about to do something they're not allowed to and then they do it anyway.
"I was so happy with the care that the unit provided, I only hope that other parents-to-be can benefit in the same way I did."
