Urogynaecology

Urogynaecology is the study and treatment of women's bladder problems.

Some bladder problems can be improved by certain exercises, such as "pelvic floor" or the "bladder drill".

It may be necessary to perform a "urodynamic" test to show how your bladder is working. This will enable us to measure the pressure in your bladder as it fills and empties, which should provide more information as to the cause of your syptoms. The test takes about 45 minutes to complete and involves inserting two very fine tubes into your bladder through which a sterile fluid is run.
