There are many ways in which our patients can let us feedback about the care they have received at our hospitals, including via the national NHS Choices website.
Patients can use NHS Choices to give an 'overall' rating of a hospital by saying whether (or not) they would recommend it to a friend.
They can also give feedback on important issues such as: what they thought of the hospital's cleanliness; how well doctors and nurses worked together; and, if they were involved with decisions about the care they received.
We welcome patient feedback on NHS Choices because:
-
it helps us understand what we are doing well, as well as where we could improve;
-
feedback from previous patients is a useful source of information for others who may be choosing which hospital to go to;
-
the vast majority of patients are very satisfied with the care they receive.

Our latest ratings
Each month, we publish our latest overall rating for each of our hospitals. These are percentages and relate to the number of patients who said they would recommend the hospital to a friend.
Furthermore, we publish those of other local hospitals. This allows people to make easy comparisons and to see how well we are doing.
Would you recommend this hospital to a friend?
