The Disability Information Centre Epsom (DICE) is located at Epsom Hospital and provides a free, confidential information service for people with a disability, their relatives, friends and carers, as well as health professionals and service providers.
The staff and volunteers at DICE are trained to give unbiased information on all aspects of disability, from access to Zimmer frames.
They can provide information regarding local support groups, personal care and needs, equipment, mobility, transport, holidays, employment, housing and benefit entitlement, including form filling.
DICE runs a voluntary car scheme to Epsom Hospital for Surrey residents with disabilities. Please give them as much notice as possible if you need to use this service.
A portable loop is also available from the DICE office to borrow and use around the hospital.
DICE is also a listed Telephony Centre for British Telecom (BT). The centre has three examples of telephones suitable for use by people with disabilities: hands free, big button and cordless.
If you’d like to visit and try out one of these BT phones to see if it is suitable for your needs, please contact the office.
If you have a problem, and you don't know where to go for help or advice, please get in touch and we will do our best to assist you.
