You can receive private treatment at the Northey Suite whether you have private health insurance or are paying your costs directly.
The charges we make are based on the principle of openness and honesty. As part of that, our prices are competitive and the information on your invoice will be clearly annotated and presented.
Each test and procedure you receive will be listed on your invoice for clarity.
By choosing to have your private care in an NHS hospital you can do so in the confidence that you have support from the fullest range of high quality clinical services available and that there is always 24-hour medical and surgical back-up.
There will always be a doctor available to see you immediately, and if you require emergency services you can be transferred there speedily without the need to wait for an ambulance.
Insurance
The hospital has arrangements in place to settle patients’ accounts directly with major insurance companies but we would always advise that you check with your insurer prior to admission that you have adequate cover for the procedure you are being admitted for.
Some policies have restricted cover and some may restrict access to certain hospitals. So, before you decide on your course of action, we recommend you read your policy carefully and speak with your insurer.
Self-funding patients
For uninsured and self-funding patients we are able to offer a range of fixed price surgical procedures or tailored packages to meet individual needs.
To take advantage of these packages we require full payment in advance of admission. Payment by card will be accepted on the day of admission but payment by cheque is required seven days in advance. We accept all forms of major debit and credit cards, except American Express.
