I previously trained as a chemist and worked for Zeneca Agrochemicals.
In 1999 I qualified as a doctor from University College London medical school.
I started my anaesthetic training in 2002 in the Oxford region, transferred to St George's Hospital in 2005, and completed my training in 2010. I have completed advanced training in paediatric anaesthesia and also a fellowship in paediatric intensive care medicine.
In March 2011 I was appointed as consultant anaesthetist for the trust. My main interests are in urology, paediatric anaesthesia and education. I am currently the College Tutor for the department.
