Dr Lee is one of the clinical leads for the Frailty Service at St Helier. She works the Acute Medical Unit and Emergency Department, assessing and treating frail older people, and with the ‘Superstranded’ team, supporting patients who have been in hospital for over 21 days. Dr Lee trained in the South West London area and was appointed Consultant Physician at Kingston Hospital in 2000. She moved to St Helier hospital in 2017. She has sub-specialised in: community geriatrics, acute stroke care (including thrombolysis), rehabilitation, psychogeriatrics, dementia and delirium, falls prevention and bone health, syncope (fainting) in older people, orthogeriatrics, surgical geriatric liaison, 'silver' trauma (trauma in older people), complex discharge planning, and 'whole systems' integration (collaboration with multiple agencies to reduce fragmentation in care to older people). She has completed the Advanced Parkinson's Disease Academy Masterclass.
