Join Epsom and St Helier for their Annual Public Meeting

Patients, visitors and members of the public are all invited to put their questions to the Trust Board and hear more about a year in the life of their local hospitals at Epsom and St Helier’s Annual Public Meeting this week.

The meeting, which will be held on Friday 13 July in the Whitehall Lecture Theatre at St Helier Hospital from 9.30am, gives local people a chance to hear a detailed review of the past financial year, including how well the hospitals performed against key standards.

Chief Executive Daniel Elkeles said: “We are pleased to announce the details of our Annual Public Meeting and to offer an open invitation to all local people.

“Last year was a very busy but exciting 12 months for our hospitals, and one which we believe will be remembered as a landmark period in securing a long term sustainable future for our hospitals and the services we provide. We would be delighted to share more information about the highlights and the challenges of 2017-18 with you, and hope to see as many people there as possible.

“In a year where we invested a record £27.9 million into our estates, facilities and IT equipment, we have a number of good news stories to share, but are also keen to tell our local communities what we’re doing to further improve patient care and plan for the future.”

The Annual Public Meeting starts at 9.30am on Friday 13 July in the Whitehall Lecture Theatre, Education Centre, St Helier Hospital.
