‘What a bright time, it's the right time to rock the day away’… in fancy dress!

Join Epsom and St Helier for National Elf Service Day on Thursday 13 December, and help to raise your festive spirit and vital funds for the hospitals.

Whether you are going to school, college or to work, we're encouraging everyone to dress up as an elf (or another Christmas character) in aid of our hospital charity. So dust off your pointy ears, stripey socks, red and green garments, and help your local hospitals!

National Elf Service Day is a Christmas fundraising event launched by the Trust’s new Epsom and St Helier Hospitals Charity that will help to spread a little joy and excitement whilst supporting a very important cause – improving our hospital services. So make sure you round up your colleagues, friends and family to help raise funds in a jolly and festive way.

If dressing up isn't your thing, then how about raising funds in a different way, perhaps you could raise money by:

Holding a Christmas themed movie night
Holding a festive ‘elfy’ bake sale
Carol singing.

You name it, as long as you're an elf or being ‘elful’, you can take part.

Lisa Thomson, Director of Communications and Patient Experience said: “National Elf Service Day is a great way for everyone (local organisations, businesses and residents) to get involved by doing something fun and having a giggle whilst raising much needed funds for our hospitals. We would really appreciate any donations we receive, no matter how big or small.”

All proceeds will go towards supporting vital services at Epsom and St Helier hospitals, so you’ll be a hospital helper too! If there is a group of you taking part in National Elf Service Day, it may be good for someone to be ‘Head Elf’ to collect all the donations.
