Join our Patient First programme
Join our Patient First programme – an initiative that will help to ensure each and every patient is at the absolute centre of how our hospitals work.
The Trust’s Patient First programme is an umbrella for everything the organisation does with a focus on continually improving the quality of the care we provide. The aim is to ensure that staff view the services they provide from a patient’s perspective and feel empowered to take action locally to improve services through a shared understanding of what matters to patients, their loved ones and carers.
Through Patient First, our staff have made some real and lasting changes. As well as working with staff to turn their ideas and feedback into action, Patient First helps ensure that the patient voice is heard loud and clear at every opportunity: whether through working with our patient forums, visiting groups in our local communities, or simply keeping people up-to-date about what is happening at our hospitals.
As a Trust, we serve a population of more than 420,000 people and it's vital that our patients and local people can have their say and can help to shape the services we provide. By signing up to the programme you will receive updates about what's happening in the Trust, be notified of events and opportunities to get involved.
