Walk4Wards

Following the success of our first ever Walk 4 Wards event in April 2019, we are thrilled to announce we’re doing it all again in 2020 - the date for your diary is Sunday 29 March!

Last year over 200 supporters joined us for a scenic seven-mile fundraising walk between Epsom and St Helier hospitals and raised an amazing £29,000.

Every mile you walk and every pound you raise will go towards supporting the patients, staff and services at the hospitals.

Wards and departments have been busy deciding how best to spend the funds following last year’s Walk4Wards;  St Helier ICU has been able to purchase more comfortable seating for waiting areas to try and make a life a little easier for the loved ones of their patients.  Another department, the Oral Maxillofacial (surgery for face, jaws), has used the funds to buy a device which measures blood clotting levels for patients prior to minor surgery.  This means patients no longer need to visit phlebotomy first for a blood sample and then wait for it to be processed by haematology saving precious time for everyone!

So, if you would like to have a fantastic day out and support your local hospitals at the same time, sign up for Walk 4 Wards 2020 today!

Please note there is a separate registration form for children under 18 years of age.  A registration form must be completed for every adult and child taking part in the event.

Registration will close at 23.59 on Sunday 1 February.
