The official Epsom and St Helier Hospitals Charity will host the first ever Walk4Wards event on Sunday 7 April – an eight mile (12 kilometre) walk starting at Epsom Hospital and ending at St Helier Hospital, via the sights of Epsom town centre, the woodlands of Nonsuch Park and down Sutton High Street (and avoiding the big hills of the Downs).

Everyone is welcome to join the walk (dogs on leads included!) and raise funds for their chosen area of the hospital – so if you or your family have experienced great care in a service and you would like to raise money for that area, just let us know!

The walk coincides with the 20th anniversary of the Trust, and what better way to celebrate than a walk between the two main hospital sites! More information, including start times and the finer details of the route will be provider closer to the time.

To sign up please complete the registration form below – and don’t forget to tell your friends and family and get them in on the action!

Contact details
Optional information: This is our first big event and the information below will help us improve future events and communications for our supporters. You can answer all or some of the questions below. For more information on how we use your data, please refer to our privacy policy.

Walking in pairs or groups
Are you part of a pair or walking as part of a group, team or family? If so please enter details below. Please note every person in the pair or group has to register individually. This will help with our administration and communications to you.

Walking with children
If you are walking with children under 18, please register their details below.

Where would you like your money to go?
All the money you raise will go towards supporting a ward or wards in either hospital to enhance and improve patient experience. For example, it could go towards the purchase of an extra piece of equipment or making a waiting area more welcoming. The money will not be spent on day-to-day administration or the basic and essential services that are fulfilled by central government funding. If you have a strong preference for a ward you would like to benefit from your fundraising, please note it in the box below. A list of wards and their specialisms can be found here.
However, we would very much like to suggest that you leave this box blank. This means the money will be directed to a ward or wards that are most in need of the extra support – they may not be the ones you think! Please note: if you are a pair or a group, it has to be the same area for everyone.
