Ward routine

  • Ward rounds:

    Medical team available daily.

  • Entrance to PD/CAPD is at the side of the renal unit reception desk.

Facilities on the ward

  • Single/mixed sex: This ward is a specialist area, which means that, on occasions, men and women will be treated alongside each other. This is to make sure they receive the best possible clinical care, i.e. nurses are able to safely monitor them.
  • Other facilities: One single toilet, waiting area (in corridor)

Visiting the ward and restrictions for visitors

  • Mobile phone policy: Mobile phones are not encouraged to be used at the bedside.

    Children are admitted at the discretion of the ward manager.
