Andrology

The Andrology department at St Helier Hospital provides a dedicated service for all patients requiring a semen analysis.

Our service provides both:

• Diagnostic semen analysis as part of a routine infertility investigation.
• Post-vasectomy semen analysis to check the success of a vasectomy operation.

If you have been referred for a semen analysis test, you are required to produce your sample on-site. We have a private room in the department specifically for this. You will need to pre-book an appointment by emailing esth.andrology@nhs.net.

Appointments are available as follows:

​Monday 8.15am - 3pm

Tuesday 8.15am - 3pm

Wednesday 8.15am - 11:15am

Thursday 8.15am - 3pm

Friday 8.15am - 3pm​

Please note that there may be up to a 12 week wait for an available appointment, so please book as early as possible.

Please ensure that you bring your semen analysis request form along with you to your appointment, as well as a form of ID such as your driving licence or passport.  

The Andrology department is located on the ground floor of G block.
