Epsom main car park improvement works – update
Essential improvement works to Epsom Hospital’s main car park are being undertaken and are due to be completed by the end of April.
The project will enhance the safety, usability, and long-term functionality of the car park.
The works will include:
- Resurfacing vehicle access routes
- Relining parking bays
- Upgrading and replacing lighting
- Installing a new single exit barrier to replace the existing two-barrier system
How the works will be carried out
To minimise disruption, most works will take place out of hours and at weekends. The car park will be completed in stages, with around 10 bays affected per phase, from a total of 247 bays, including disabled spaces. Each phase will be fully reopened before work moves to the next area.
The next phase, including resurfacing and relining works are planned for the weekends of 28/29 March and 4/5 April.
Clear signage and marshals will be in place where needed. Safe access for emergency and essential services will be maintained at all times.
Please allow extra time for arrival and departure, follow all on-site signage and marshal instructions, and consider alternative travel or parking options where possible.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we deliver these important improvements.
