TV presenter Elle Osili-Wood has recorded a special message to NHS staff as the countdown gets under way to the second gesh CARE Awards.

Last winter, St George’s, Epsom and St Helier hospitals were hit by a flood of flu as well as RSV, Covid and norovirus – closing wards, adding to the strain on Emergency Departments (ED) and putting extra pressure on staff, as the virus gripped hospitals up and down the country. 

Andrew Grimshaw joined the organisation in 2017 and has played a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening its financial strategy over the past eight years

Elle Osili -Wood, who presented ITV’s coverage of the 2025 Oscars alongside Jonathan Ross, will join St George’s, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals Group for the second-ever gesh CARE Awards

Our hospitals are currently very busy and we're seeing higher numbers of people come to our emergency departments - with Monday (13 October) one of our busiest days so far this year.

Jodie Picknett is raising money for Epsom and St Helier Hospitals Charity so they can continue to  provide ‘memory castings’ for bereaved families.
