Talk and tour – join us for an exclusive tour of Epsom Hospital

Patients, visitors and local people are invited to have an exclusive look around Epsom Hospital and talk with the Chief Executive about plans for the hospital site – including the potential to build a new £250-300 million building on the hospital grounds.

The talk and tour event will start at 10am on Thursday 6 September at the main reception of Epsom Hospital (also known as the Derby Suite). Guests will be greeted by Daniel Elkeles, Chief Executive, and Trevor Fitzgerald, Director of Estates, Facilities and Capital Projects.

Daniel and Trevor will then lead a tour around the hospital site, sharing information about the multi-million pound improvements which are underway, the area of land that has been declared surplus to the current and future needs of the hospital, and show where the new acute facility could be built if Epsom is chosen as the preferred site for the £250-300 million facility.

Daniel said: “We know that the future of the Epsom Hospital site is a very hot topic for local people, and so we wanted to give members of the public the opportunity to come and find out about our plans, hear about the amazing improvement projects and ask us any questions they may have. This is a very exciting time for Epsom and St Helier hospitals, and so we are really keen to share information and dispel any myths about the future of our organisation.”

Spaces are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis. To book a place or for more information, email esth.communications@nhs.net.
