A member of staff in the security team at Epsom and St Helier hospitals has signed a book deal with world-renowned publisher, HarperCollins.

Surgeons performing knee replacements at the South West London Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC), which is based at Epsom Hospital, have a new cutting edge assistant in the operating theatre – a robotics-assisted surgical system called NAVIO that helps improve accuracy during surgery. 

Epsom and St Helier hospitals are inviting local people, including staff, patients and visitors, to pay tribute to loved ones who have sadly passed away, with memorial Christmas trees at the entrance to both hospitals.

Doctors and nurses at Epsom and St Helier hospitals are urging people to be careful this festive season after seeing a high number of patients in the emergency departments last year, including 326 attendances on Christmas day alone.

Epsom and St Helier hospitals are the first in London to receive the UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative Gold Award.
