Armed Forces Community Awareness training sessions

The Armed Forces Community Awareness training sessions have been designed to help all staff understand the commitment that we have made to the armed forces community and how we as a Trust can identify, record their status and support them.

The session will explain how to use these tools and resources and provide the wider context of why it is so important for us to be recognising the armed forces community. The session will cover a range of topics including:

• Why we need to identify the armed forces community

• The Armed Forces Covenant and our commitment as part of the NHS

• Who we need to identify and how

• The armed forces community and their experiences

• How we can support the armed forces community
