Junior doctors' industrial action | News

Following the announcement of the junior doctors’ industrial action, we would like to assure local people that we are working hard to make sure any disruption to services is kept to an absolute minimum.

 

Patients and visitors should be aware that the British Medical Association (BMA) has encouraged its junior doctor members to take strike action as follows:

• 8am Tuesday 12 January to 8am Wednesday 13 January
• 8am Tuesday 26 January to 8am Thursday 28 January
• 8am to 5pm on Wednesday 10 February.

 

We are currently working to fully understand the potential impact of the planned industrial action and put appropriate plans in place. As such, we will continue to make announcements as the situation develops.
