Submit a story for e-update
Please use the form below to submit content for e-update, our regular email bulletin to all staff.
The Communications team will craft the message for you - all you need to do is provide details of what, where, who, when, why and how. Think about the key messages you want to get across, we'll do the rest.
Do:

Include key messages

include all relevant details in your message

Write in plain English, explaining any clinical terms, jargon or acroynms

Always provide a contact name, job title and internal telephone number (hospital code plus extension, eg 721 2406).
Don't:

Don't use any acronyms (or spell them out at least once)

Don't use capital letters for whole words or sentences
-
Don't include patient identifiable data
-
Don't include personal information about staff without receiving their prior permission.
You can also attach up to two documents which will then be linked from the story. The attachments should be supplements (like posters, registration forms, longer documents) to the story and not contain the story itself.
Please ensure that any attachments you include comply with the Brand and Style Policy, which can be found on the intranet. Any documents that do not comply with this, will be sent back to you to be edited before being included in e-update.
Finally, please remember that e-update is only one way of communicating your message. Thursday's edition: submit content before 12noon on Wednesday
We aim to send out the newsletter on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
You can also specify a later publication date.
