Patient Transport Service

We have a patient transport service for patients who have a genuine medical need and are unable to travel to hospital on their own.

Booking transport

St Helier Hospital

For your first referral to the hospital, the request for transport will be made by your GP. If there are any further follow up appointments, the hospital department will book any necessary transport.  

Epsom Hospital and Surrey Downs CCG patients

Patients can book their own transport via the ATL transport booking line on 0333 456 9993. The booking line is open from 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

Queries and cancellation of bookings

If you have any queries about an existing booking or want to cancel a booking:

  • For St Helier Hospital, please contact the ATL transport desk on 020 8296 3845 seven days a week.
  • For Epsom Hospital and Surrey Downs CCG Patients, please contact ATL transport desk on  01372 735 430 seven days a week.
