All aboard: Dementia Community Roadshow to visit Epsom Hospital

Epsom Hospital will be hosting the pioneering Dementia Community Roadshow on 23 October 2015, as part of a national tour organised by the Alzheimer’s Society.

The Roadshow offers free information and advice to anyone with queries about the condition, as well as helping to promote the benefits of early diagnosis. It is open to people currently living with dementia, who are worried about a friend or relative’s memory or who just have questions about the condition. No appointment is needed.

Charlotte Hall, Chief Nurse, said: “We see a large number of patients, relatives and carers who are affected by dementia, and an important part of our work is making sure they receive the support and information they need. We are thrilled to have the Dementia Community Roadshow coming to Epsom Hospital, as it provides people with a fantastic opportunity to understand more about dementia and to help spread the word about the help and support available.”

The Roadshow will be open to the public from 10am-4pm, in the car park outside the entrance to Block A (Headley Wing) at Epsom Hospital.
