Paperless letters through MyCare
When you register for MyCare, you will be asked how you would like to receive your hospital letters.
You will see the option within MyCare to choose between:
- “Paperless letters in MyCare, the NHS App or by text message”
- “Letters delivered by post”
Important information for Epsom and St Helier patients
While this option is visible within the portal, paperless letter delivery is not yet fully enabled across Epsom and St Helier services.
As a safeguard, you will continue to receive all hospital letters by post, even if you select the paperless option within MyCare.
You should therefore:
- Continue to expect appointment and clinical letters through the post.
- Regularly check MyCare and the NHS App for appointments, test results and other information about your care.
- Ensure your contact details are kept up to date.
We will communicate with patients when paperless letter delivery is fully available across Epsom and St Helier services.
