"Quiet and respectful place to learn, no interruptions and plenty of resources"

"The ability to provide a quiet space for IT applications, when otherwise space is limited is a great support, especially for training or course work"

"Both Epsom and St Helier's libraries are wonderful places to read and study, offering a peaceful and conducive environment"

"The cubicles provided excellent study space and the location of the library is great with coffee shop nearby"

"I currently use the library as a place to study and I am loving it".

We have a collection of  well being digital audio books and electronic fiction books  available via the BorrowBox app.  BorrowBox allows you to download eAudio books and ebooks. This service is available on a tablet, smartphone or web browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari or Internet Explorer.

You will need your reader membership code and password to access the collection.  Contact either library: esth.hirsonlibrary@nhs.net or  esth.libraryepsom@nhs.net  for these details.  Instructions for downloading the BorrowBox app are available -  setting up borrow box on your device.

The following quote from our recent biennial library survey highlights the positive impact of having BorrowBox:

“I do use BorrowBox, good selection but could always be a bigger range! but def more fiction over the past year or so has been made available - great escapism and good for a mental massage! I listen on my way home as a buffer between work and home…It gives a much-needed break thank you” - Radiographer

Our jigsaws

We always have jigsaws on the go at both library sites. Pop in today and help us complete the latest one!

The following quote from our recent biennial library survey highlights the positive impact of providing puzzles:

“Loving having the puzzles in the Library to do, it’s good to be able to get away from your desk/area and have a breather as there are not many places left in the hospital that you are able to do that”  Administrator/Manager
