Endocrinology (paediatric and adolescent)

We offer a comprehensive specialist endocrinology service for children and young adults with conditions caused by hormonal problems from both Epsom Hospital, and St Helier Hospital’s dedicated paediatric hospital, Queen Mary's Hospital for Children.

We carry out a full range of investigations on a day-case or outpatient basis which is supported by our chemical pathology and immunology services; we also have excellent endocrine imaging services including ultrasound, CT and MRI scanning, and nuclear medicine.

Our team manages inpatients who are admitted because of endocrine emergencies or who are found to have new endocrine problems. We deal with a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders, including:

  • Short stature
  • Tall stature
